What is health coaching?

I often get asked, 'What is health coaching?' And my answer is that I work with people to discover what they need to experience better health, more energy and more joy in their lives, for the long haul!

​Small actions can make a big difference but it's essential to find the actions that uniquely work for you.

​Over 6 - 12 weeks we work together to identify what really motivates you, what you enjoy, what you can fit into your life and what your body and mind respond well to.

​When you hit on the things you love and make you feel good, you'll want to keep them up and you won't need to rely on 'willpower'.

What is Functional Medicine?

​Functional Medicine goes beyond symptoms of poor health and vitality to look at contributing factors – what you put in your body, how you use it and your genetics.

We may not be able to change our genes but we can really influence how they are expressed by the choices we make.

As an FM health coach, trained in positive psychology, motivational interviewing, Functional Medicine principles, psychology of eating, IFM food plans and mind-body techniques, I can support you to identify what makes you tick as well as providing you with solid, well researched information and techniques around diet, movement, stress and sleep, empowering you to take charge of your health.
